Zaca Mesa’s history dates back to 1973 & it is one of the first wineries in the Santa Barbara County wine region. Ken Brown, later of Byron fame, was the first winemaker. Ken drafted some soon- to- be regional superstars to join him: Adam Tomlach, Jim Clendenen and Bob Lindquist. This amazing team started the winery on its road to success and saw them begin their exclusive attention to Rhone varietals in 1978 with Santa Barbara County’s first Syrah plantings. Many years and wine awards later, winemaker Kristin Bryden is continuing the successful Rhone tradition. The Cantalini culinary team has created an incredible menu to showcase four of these wines including the premier of Inceptive, a lovely GSM blend & the chance to enjoy a ’12 Mesa Reserve Syrah (both perfect candidates for your Thanksgiving table). This is our first dinner at this wonderful Italian fixture in Playa del Rey and our last public dinner for 2018. Join us for a great evening of wine, food and conversation. Bring some friends and make some new ones as well! Note: Price is inclusive of tax & gratuity.
