LaZarre Wines , founded in 2003, is truly a family affair. Adam and Angie, the husband and wife co-winemaking team behind this outstanding boutique winery, have a 20+ year history in the wine industry. Adam has been recognized as a past winemaker of the year in California as well as one of the top 100 “most influential people in the US wine industry”. Angie, while working many years at a number of Central Coast wineries, has also obtained her level one Sommelier’s certificate and enjoys making great wines with her husband. LaZarre sources grapes from California’s top vineyards from Monterrey on the north to the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Rita Hills on the south based on their long-term, personal relationships. Tonight’s dinner features 4 wines, including a dynamite ’14 Merlot from Paso Robles, paired with the gourmet Indian cuisine of owner/chef Avinash Kapoor. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy these highly regarded, low production wines. This is a rare Saturday night happening so grab some friends and join us at this exciting venue in DTLA. Angie LaZarre will join Gourmet Wine Getaways’ Peter Kerr as our special guest.
