Daou Family Estates was founded in 1998 by brothers Georges and Daniel Daou- the culmination of their life-long dream. Daniel had been a “garagiste” in San Diego for many years while informally studying winemaking, when an amazing property in Paso Robles became available. The rest, as they say, is history. The wine critics and wine-drinking world fell in love with Daou almost immediately and the honeymoon still goes on today. Daou Mountain’s terroir (pictured above) has enabled the brothers to become the Central Coast’s ambassadors of Bordeaux varietals. Akbar’s Owner/Chef Avinash Kapoor has created a delicious menu of gourmet Indian cuisine that will pair perfectly with these 4 incredible wines. GWG’s Peter Kerr will discuss Daou’s amazing history & explore the wine & food pairings. All the wines will also be available for ordering at great prices.
