Area 5.1 Winery is the brainchild of owner Martin Brown, no doubt with some alien influence! (Sci-fi/UFO buffs are no doubt familiar with Area 51 in Nevada). Well, Martin and his consulting winemakers(including his brother Michael of Kalyra/Buttonwood fame) decided it was time to “throw away the old wine blending book “ and make some creative blends that break most if not all the rules- blending different regional varietals, different vintages, and different flavor components. The result is nothing short of unique and borders on the fantastic!
At this dinner, we will showcase five “out of this world” wines from our featured winery. So, if you are intrigued or just plain curious, join us for what is sure to be a night of fascinating pairings, lively Q & A and just a down-right good time. Owner Martin Brown will be on hand to amaze and amuse you-perhaps he’ll even enlist your services the next time they are blending wines at Area 5.1!
