Abadia Retuerta’s history dates back to the 11th century when Christian Monks built the historic monastery & first planted vines on what would eventually become the Abadia estate. The 1980’s were a major turning point, however, as the last of the old vines were replaced with new, sturdy root stock that would form the basis for their move into fine wine production. The current winery was built in 1996 and for the last 30 years, they have focused on producing wines that have garnered acclaim throughout the wine world. Tonight, after a lovely Cava Welcome Reception, we will have the opportunity to taste three of Abadia’s outstanding wines perfectly paired with the unique and tasty cuisine of Chef Oscar and his culinary team. Sergio Sabater will join us to discuss the history of this boutique gem of a winery along with providing the inside scoop on what the future holds. All the wines will be available for ordering at very special prices so you can enjoy them at home and share with friends.
