Kerr\, Gourmet Wine Getaways’ Wine Consultant\nSpecial Guest: Spencer Daley\, owner/winemaker \nWednesday\, July 21\, 2021 at 7:00 PM\n$79 per person\, plus tax and gratuity \nOwner/Winemaker Spencer Daley got a relatively early start in the wine business at the age of 13.  He and his father literally were garagistes- starting with a couple of rows of grapes in their backyard and making wine 4 years later in their garage from those home-grown Sangiovese and Cabernet grapes.  Fast forward to 2015 where\, at age 25\, Spencer is premiering four of his own wines from Santa Barbara County grapes using those same fundamentals he learned from his dad 12 years ago.  The name SLYD comes from Spencer’s love of music and is continued in the naming of each of his wines.  The connection in his mind is obvious- wine\, like music\, reflects the artist who created it.
