Kerr\, Gourmet Wine Getaways’ Wine Consultant\nSpecial Guest: Vailia From\, owner/winemaker Desparada Wines \nWednesday\, July 24\, 2024 at 7:00 PM\n$125 per person\, plus tax and gratuity \n Desparada is the bold venture of Vailia From into the space between earth and imagination. She utilizes grapes sourced from nearly 20 of the Central Coast’s most iconic vineyards\, using a growing arsenal of amphorae (one is pictured above) to create wines free of stylistic constraints. Herman Story Wines are made by Vailia’s husband Russell From. He is a man of few (written) words\, allowing him to spend more time focused on his wines. The names of his wines\, as you will see\, are basic yet eclectic. Each wine has a story to tell\, requiring it to be consumed to be fully understood. Tonight\, Vailia will join us as we taste 2 of her wines and 2 from Russell.
