Kerr\, Gourmet Wine Getaways\nSpecial Guests: Owner/Winemaker Karen Steinwachs & Steve Escobar \nWednesday\, November 15\, 2023 at 7:00 PM\n$89 per person\, plus tax and gratuity \nWinemakers Karen Steinwachs and Steve Escobar are modern renaissance folks that took slightly different paths through the business world but ended up at the same place- the Santa Ynez Valley\, with a love and a passion for wine and food (in Steve’s case\, seafood). Karen’s 20+ years in the wine industry including 14 at Buttonwood led her to start making her own wine in the early 2000’s under the Seagrape Wine Co. label. Meanwhile\, Steve’s love of seafood\, his culinary training and his grandfather/father’s garagiste winemaking adventures positioned him to carry on the family tradition and begin to make his own wine.\nTonight\, we will have the pleasure of enjoying four of their small production wines\, two from each winemaker\, paired with the cuisine of El Rincon’s incredible culinary team. Gourmet Wine Getaways wine expert Peter Kerr will join the winemaking duo to discuss their wines\, the pairings and answer any and all wine-related questions.
