Kerr\, Gourmet Wine Getaways\nSpecial Guest: Matt Mauldin\, Cru Winery \nThursday\, September 21\, 2023 at 7:00 PM \n$85 pp plus tax and gratuity \nTwo wine-loving friends took the ultimate step (that wine lovers can take) 20 years ago and opened a winery. Initially\, it was little more than a garage\, making a very small amount of wine for family and friends. But\, the passion took over and they hired a top shelf winemaker in 2009 and now they are a 25\,000 case winery\, earning accolades year after year. The winery seeks out grapes from some of California’s Central Coast’s top vineyards including French Camp\, Bien Nacido\, Sierra Madre and Smith & Lindley (SLH) to enable Crū to craft their outstanding single vineyard wines.\nTonight\, we will have the pleasure of enjoying four wines including a lovely Sierra Madre PNO (188 cases made) & a French Camp GSM (252 cases made) paired with the delicious cuisine of Fritto Misto’s incredible culinary team. Gourmet Wine Getaways’ wine expert Peter Kerr will join Matt to discuss the wines\, the pairings and answer any wine-related questions.
