Kerr\, Gourmet Wine Getaways\nSpecial Guests: Karen Steinwachs & Steve Escobar\, Winemakers \nWednesday\, December 7\, 2022 at 7:00 PM \n$79 pp plus tax and gratuity \nWinemakers Karen Steinwachs (pictured above) and Steve Escobar are modern renaissance folks that took slightly different paths through the business world but ended up at the same place- the Santa Ynez Valley\, with a love and a passion for wine and food (in Steve’s case\, seafood). Karen’s 20+ years in the wine industry including 14 at Buttonwood led her to start making her own wine in the early 2000’s under the Seagrape Wine Co. label\, focused on Chardonnay and PNO from Santa Rita Hills. Meanwhile\, Steve’s love of seafood\, his culinary training and his grandfather/father’s garagiste winemaking adventures positioned him to carry on the family tradition and begin to make his own wine.\nTonight\, we will have the pleasure of enjoying four wines\, two from each winemaker\, paired with the cuisine of Fritto Misto’s incredible culinary team. Gourmet Wine Getaways’ wine expert Peter Kerr will join the winemaking duo to discuss their wines\, the pairings and answer any and all wine-related questions.
