The name Bob Lindquist is synonymous with Syrah and other great Rhone wines. But, he also makes great Chardonnay! He is one of the original “Rhone Rangers” and has been making world-class wine for the past 35 years. Bob founded Qupé in ’82 while working with Jim Clendenen at Zaca Mesa Winery. He left Zaca Mesa the following year to dedicate his full time and energy to his new winery. And the rest, as they say, is history. Qupé has been selected as a Winery of the Year by Wine & Spirits Magazine for each of the last 19 years- an amazing achievement!
Tonight, Bob will be on hand to give us the “inside scoop” from the winery and perhaps talk a little Dodger baseball (his other passion). We’ll enjoy 2 of his outstanding Syrahs plus 2 other great wines that reveal the breadth of Bob’s talents. Chef Brendan Collins and the culinary team at Wilshire have creatively paired each wine with a gourmet food course designed to bring out the best in the wine (and the food).
