Buttonwood Winery, based in the Santa Ynez Valley, has specialized in producing food-friendly, Bordeaux wines for over 30 years. Karen took the wine-making reins in 2007 and has continued their proud tradition with each wine she produces. Tonight, we’ll have the pleasure of sampling 5 wines including an award-winning ’16 Estate Cabernet Franc & the amazing ’14 Trevin, a Bordeaux blend (only 228 cases), where Karen blends until she is happy. The wines are perfectly paired with outstanding cuisine from the culinary team at Fritto Misto. Join Karen & Gourmet Wine Getaways’ wine expert Peter Kerr as they discuss the Central Coast wine region, the quirky 2019 harvest, and answer all your wine-related questions. Bring a friend (or two) and don’t miss our first wine dinner at this much loved Santa Monica Italian eatery in its new location.
